Frances Stunt is a contemporary jeweller based in Manchester, UK. Frances specialises in original sterling silver and mixed-material pieces that explore texture, form and design. Each collection tells a story of craft, creativity and thoughtful material use.
THE COLLECTIONS
REVOLVE
The Revolve Collection features bold sterling silver jewellery defined by smooth curves and subtle movement. Each piece plays with balance and proportion, creating modern statement jewellery designed to catch the light and evolve with wear.
FRAGMENTS
Inspired by broken surfaces and layered forms, the Fragments Collection explores texture and contrast. These handcrafted silver pieces embrace imperfection, celebrating marks made across the surface of the silver, contrasting the the sharp clean lines of the shapes.
ELECTRIC
The Electric Collection is energetic and expressive, combining colours and shapes with striking detail. Designed for those drawn to confident, contemporary jewellery with a strong visual presence.
THREAD
Delicate yet distinctive, the Thread Collection focuses on fine lines, repetition and subtle movement. These pieces were born from the desire to reduce waste and use the off-cuts from the Electric collection.
CARVE
The Carve Collection highlights hand-worked surfaces and sculptural form. Each piece reflects the physical act of carving, resulting in jewellery that feels both tactile and architectural.
THE STUDIO & PROCESS
In 2009 Frances established her studio practice with a focus on creating wearable yet sculptural jewellery that celebrates process, material and detail.
Working primarily with sterling silver, Frances designs and handcrafts each piece with care, balancing clean modern forms with organic textures. Her work reflects a passion for traditional making techniques combined with contemporary design thinking.
All Frances Stunt jewellery is designed and made by herself in her Manchester studio. Frances works in small batches, allowing close attention to detail and ensuring every piece meets a high standard of craftsmanship.
FRANNY & FILER
In 2009 Frances Stunt and her good friend Abby Filer opened their shop, Franny & Filer. Situated on Beech Road in Chorlton, Manchester. This is a gorgeous street with lots of independent shops, bars, and restaurants which they are very lucky to be apart of. In-store they celebrate a carefully selected range of jewellers from throughout the UK. They also have their workshop in-store so if you ever pop in you're likely to see one of them working away on their jewellery.
